Healthtech Invest Europe 2017, Finlandia Hall, Helsinki
BrainICU, the parent project of Cerenion Oy, took part in the two-day event organized in Helsinki by Techtour and Finpro. We were there to meet active international investors and corporations seeking investment opportunities and partnerships.
Healthtech Invest Europe 2017 took place on 15-16 March 2017 in Helsinki. The event brought together leading investors from Europe and some of the most promising Healthtech entrepreneurs of Europe and Finland. The event concentrated on Medical Devices & Diagnostics, Digital Health, Connected Health & Sensors and Wearables and Well-Being Technology. The two-day intensive programme of the event gave us a great chance to network with several national and international stakeholders.
Finland has invested in health for decades, supporting companies via various funding programs. The healthtech sector has a strong foundation in research, product development and innovation, which require specialised competences. At the same time an increasing number of players have joined forces to strengthen Finland`s position as an internationally renowned forerunner in health sector research, innovation, investment and new business activities.
